denmarkCP Kelco ApS is located in Lille Skensved, 40 km south of Copenhagen, Denmark. The plant is one of the largest of its kind in the world and produces pectin and carrageenan based respectively on citrus peel and seaweed. 

The production process includes extraction, purification and standardization steps in a highly automated process. Company activities reach out to most parts of the world. Citrus peel is imported from South & Central America and Southern Europe, and the major part of the seaweed typically comes from Asia, Canada, Chile and Africa. 98% of the produced volume is exported to more than 100 countries.
