As the second biggest xanthan gum producer in China, CPKelco (Shandong) Biological Co., Ltd. is located in Wulian County, Rizhao, Shandong, where is the eastern bridgehead of the Euro-Asia Continental Bridge. Being adjacent to Qingdao Seaport, Jingfu Highway and Jiqing Highway, this location enjoys convenient communications and exceptional advantages in natural and cultural environment.

Having 470 employees currently, the company began to produce xanthan gum in 2001, which is widely used in food, medicine, chemical and other industrial fields as a thickening agent. In the process of catching up with and surpassing other fellowtraders, the company became a world-renowned xanthan gum producer in 2004, and joined CPKelco/the Huber family as CPKelco's most important xanthan gum producing base in Asia in March 2006. Now we are striving for the biggest biological gum producing base in China through 2-3 more years' unremitting efforts.

 

 

Boasting of first-class biological fermentation equipment and advanced precipitation technique in China, we have established three laboratories of high standards, i.e. microbiological lab, finished product lab and scientific research lab which are identified as Rizhao City's Municipal Engineering Technology Research Center. The Application Technique Research Center, which is under construction, will provide our customers better product solutions and services. Besides, we are also designated as one of the drafters to revise Xanthan Gum Standards of China by China Food Additive Association due to our wide influence and good reputation.
